is very easy to read and follow, unlike some other book I found, and stops and explains his theorys very well. initial implementation of case studies is also a great help.

Rating: 5 / 5

A must buy for those seeking and design of schools.
Highly recommended.
only unsatisfactory part of this is that the characters are too large.Rating: 5 / 5

This book is based on an idea of the language pattern of Christopher Alexander, and the authors apply the idea in school project. The book includes graphic pictures and descriptions of the base, which are easy to follow and understand. Unlike other books on school design, focuses on case studies, but centers on principles of design, the authors call models. As the authors said, the 25 models listed in the book as a starting point for development, it is reasonable to say that the book is not a complete design pricinples school, but a good starting point for tackling design projects from school .Rating: 4 / 5

The authors are architect Christopher Alexander's classic book "A Pattern Language." They develop a vocabulary of a language or aspects of an educational model and show clear and vibrant examples of each.
It is a common occurrence to get such an effective synthesis of theory and concepts with practical applications.
I recommend this publication as a great resource for administrators in the design of new plants and struggling with how to bridge the gap between aging and the inadequacy of existing facilities and new educational models to be discussed and applied.
easy "beach read" that will leave you full of energy and the opportunity to see how exciting school can actually be.Rating: 5 / 5

Fielding Nair and depth of assembling models of school design are a source of inspiration for designers, architects and educators worldwide. Colorful, innovative and easy to digest, this book has come a long way to school most of us, unfortunately, we know today. I recommend this book to any school administration, design engineer or a researcher trying to make a breakthrough in the field of educational facilities planning. An absolutely wonderful collection of images and ideas!Rating: 5 / 5
